Lorenzo (Larry Martin) started Seattle Tango-List in 2001, my personal thanks go to him because it was what he was passionately doing at that time, that led me to learn Tango.
He used to bring talented instructors from Buenos Aires, and put on free weekend long workshops for anyone who wanted to learn! As one of his projects he created a useful yahoo group, and used it to send out emails to the tango community to keep them aware of what is going on.
